We were able to do some mad hiking in the area - the views were insane! And to top it off, we took a trip to the Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway Adventure Park, which was like stepping into a whole new world. It was lit!
Only thing we would've asked for is if The Pigeon Loft had a sick party room where we could turn up the music and have a lit time. But hey, we still had an epic stay!

We got great value for our money at The Pigeon Loft in Hurst Green. The room was beautifully furnished and equipped, and the garden was enormous with plenty of seating areas to relax in. The location was easy to find and parking was convenient. Sally, our host, was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast could have been improved with more variety.

We absolutely loved our Easter getaway at this lovely cottage! The furnishings and decor were top-notch, and everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was a dream for someone like me who loves cooking, and the spacious living space made us feel right at home. The bathroom was beautiful and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location couldn't have been better, with easy access to day trips to nearby towns and scenic sites. We especially enjoyed exploring Bodiam Castle and Batemans. Plus, the parking right next to the property made it super convenient for us.
While our stay was mostly fantastic, there were a couple of drawbacks. the water in the property was only tepid throughout our nearly 3-week stay, and the heated towel rail didn't work for two of those weeks.

The parking was right next to the property, making check-in a breeze. The kitchen was lovely and well-equipped for cooking. The living space, bathroom, and bedrooms were incredibly spacious. The furnishings and decor were of a very high standard, giving the place a classy feel. The property was very clean and spotless, with a light and airy atmosphere.
It was a bit difficult to find the location without a sign by the road. One of the bedrooms had low beams, which could be a hazard for taller guests.

While there were a few drawbacks, such as a low beam in one of the bedrooms and some noise from the busy road, these were minor inconveniences that didn't significantly impact our stay. Additionally, there weren't many facilities within walking distance, but this was expected and didn't bother us since we had a car.
